Coalition for Tuition Equality (CTE)

The Coalition for Tuition Equality (CTE) was a pivotal organization that helped established a university-wide dialogue to engage the issue of tuition equality. Through the work of CTE and various campus partners, the University of Michigan developed more inclusive policies that enabled access to undocumented and DACAmented students in the state of Michigan.

Student Community of Progressive Empowerment (SCOPE)

Student Community of Progressive Empowerment (SCOPE) is a current student organization established to serve undocumented and DACAmented students at the University of Michigan by providing an empowering community to foster a successful college experience. Click here to learn more about SCOPE.

Staff

In response to community concerns at the University of Michigan, Chief Diversity Officer Dr. Robert Sellers assigned Hector Galvan, Program Manager at the Office of Academic Multicultural Initiatives, to provide resources and serve as the direct liaison between the undocumented and DACAmented community and U-M.

All undocumented students at the University of Michigan are encouraged to have a one-on-one meeting with Hector Galvan at the Office of Academic Multicultural Initiatives.
